Vi &#8211;\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.esri.ie\/bru\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">beteendeforskningsenheten<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0vid Ekonomiska och sociala forskningsinstitutet i Dublin\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0samarbetar med\u00a0Irlands h\u00e4lsomyndighet f\u00f6r att\u00a0st\u00f6dja deras insatser mot COVID-19-pandemin.\u00a0Som en del av detta arbete har vi\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/journal-bpa.org\/index.php\/jbpa\/article\/view\/147\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">granskat\u00a0\u00f6ver 100 vetenskapliga artiklar<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, b\u00f6rjat\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.esri.ie\/publications\/motivating-social-distancing-during-the-covid-19-pandemic-an-online-experiment\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">testa ksommunikationsmetoder f\u00f6r att b\u00e4st n\u00e5 ut till allm\u00e4nheten<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0och samlat p\u00e5 oss insikter som som \u00e4r relevanta f\u00f6r h\u00e4lsopsykologiut\u00f6vare.\u00a0I v\u00e5r samanst\u00e4llning fokuserar vi\u00a0p\u00e5 litteratur inom tre omr\u00e5den som har varit centrala byggstenar i insatser v\u00e4rlden \u00f6ver: handhygien, ansiktsber\u00f6ring\u00a0och\u00a0isolering.\u00a0Vi diskuterar ocks\u00e5 allm\u00e4nna insikter om hur man kan motivera\u00a0positiva beteende\u00a0och kommunicera effektivt i en kris.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><b>Handhygien<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hur man f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttrar handhygien i v\u00e5rdsammanhang \u00e4r v\u00e4l unders\u00f6kt.\u00a0Det finns starka bevis f\u00f6r\u00a0att <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/linkinghub.elsevier.com\/retrieve\/pii\/S1473309911702833\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">utbildning och allm\u00e4n information inte r\u00e4cker<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, men att sm\u00e5 f\u00f6r\u00e4ndringar i milj\u00f6n kan vara mycket effektiva st\u00f6d. Meddelanden som visar att det finns en social norm kring anv\u00e4ndningen kan ytterligare \u00f6ka anv\u00e4ndningen. Direkta men artiga fr\u00e5gor \u2013 som \u201dhar du anv\u00e4nt handspriten?\u201d \u2013 \u00e4r ett enkelt s\u00e4tt att kommunicera normer. Just nu \u00e4r ett bra tillf\u00e4lle att f\u00f6r\u00e4ndra normer som sedan kan uppr\u00e4tth\u00e5llas n\u00e4r den omedelbara krisen sl\u00e4pper.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Ansiktsber\u00f6ring<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ansiktsber\u00f6ring \u00e4r, till skillnad fr\u00e5n handhygien, obeforskat: vi hittade inga exempel p\u00e5 interventioner som syftade till att minska arbetsber\u00f6ring. Att medvetandeg\u00f6ra r\u00e4cker troligen inte, att g\u00f6ra m\u00e4nniskor <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1037\/h0036059\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">sj\u00e4lvmedvetna om ansiktsber\u00f6ring kan till och med \u00f6ka m\u00e4ngden ber\u00f6ring<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. I avsaknad av etablerade interventioner kan ut\u00f6vare anv\u00e4nda mer generella\u00a0modeller f\u00f6r beteendef\u00f6r\u00e4ndring \u2013 <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1186\/1748-5908-6-42\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Behaviour Change Wheel<\/span><\/i><\/a><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><\/i><a href=\"https:\/\/practicalhealthpsychology.com\/2018\/03\/planning-theory-and-evidence-based-behavior-change-interventions-intervention-mapping\/\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Intervention Mapping<\/span><\/i><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">eller <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bi.team\/publications\/east-four-simple-ways-to-apply-behavioural-insights\/\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">EAST Framework<\/span><\/i><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 f\u00f6r att utveckla egna interventioner.\u00a0Vi och\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bi.team\/blogs\/how-to-stop-touching-our-faces-in-the-wake-of-the-coronavirus\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">andra forskare\u00a0<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">har rekommenderat att man b\u00f6r testa om det g\u00e5r att f\u00e5 m\u00e4nniskor att \u201dbyta ut\u201d ansiktsber\u00f6ring mot ett annat beteende \u2013 som att r\u00f6ra vid ansiktet med en tr\u00f6j\u00e4rm eller en n\u00e4sduk \u2013 d\u00e5 detta kan vara mer effektivt \u00e4n att f\u00f6rs\u00f6ka f\u00e5 folk att bara \u201dsluta\u201d med ansiksber\u00f6ring.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Isolering<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sj\u00e4lvisolering av individer med symtom och individer som har har varit i n\u00e4ra kontakt med smittade personer\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/bfi.uchicago.edu\/working-paper\/2020-26\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">kommer att r\u00e4dda liv<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Isolering kan dock ocks\u00e5 ha negativa psykologiska effekter.\u00a0Social isolering och ensamhet\u00a0kan p\u00e5verka v\u00e4lbefinnandet i samma utstr\u00e4ckning som andra <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/journals.sagepub.com\/doi\/10.1177\/1745691614568352\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">h\u00e4lsoriskfaktorer<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> som exempelvis r\u00f6kning.\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thelancet.com\/journals\/lancet\/article\/PIIS0140-6736(20)30460-8\/fulltext\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En\u00a0sammanst\u00e4llning av 24 studier\u00a0<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">p\u00e5\u00a0personer\u00a0som sattes i karant\u00e4n under tidigare utbrott av infektionssjukdomar pekar p\u00e5 att det finns risker bortom isoleringstiden, inklusive\u00a0\u00f6kade\u00a0depressioner upp till tre \u00e5r senare.\u00a0Sjukv\u00e5rdspersonal kan vara s\u00e4rskilt utsatta\u00a0d\u00e5 de negativa psykologiska effekterna av isolering\u00a0kan f\u00f6rv\u00e4rras av oro f\u00f6r medarbetare eller deras patienter under utbrottet.\u00a0Myndigheter b\u00f6r d\u00e4rf\u00f6r tillhandah\u00e5lla ytterligare psykologiskt st\u00f6d p\u00e5 distans, s\u00e4rskilt f\u00f6r utsatta grupper.\u00a0Att hj\u00e4lpa individer planera f\u00f6r sj\u00e4lvisolering\u00a0kan minska negativa biverkningar ytterligare. \u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.who.int\/docs\/default-source\/coronaviruse\/mental-health-considerations.pdf\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">V\u00e4rldsh\u00e4lsoorganisationen\u00a0<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">och m\u00e5nga nationella h\u00e4lso- och sjukv\u00e5rdstj\u00e4nster, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhs.uk\/oneyou\/every-mind-matters\/coronavirus-covid-19-staying-at-home-tips\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">s\u00e5som\u00a0brittiska NHS<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, har rekommendationer\u00a0f\u00f6r att hj\u00e4lpa individer att klara tid i isolering. Vanliga tips inkluderar att h\u00e5lla sig i kontakt med andra via telefon eller p\u00e5 n\u00e4tet, tr\u00e4na om en k\u00e4nner sig tillr\u00e4ckligt frisk, och att <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/linkinghub.elsevier.com\/retrieve\/pii\/S014067362030547X\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">skapa och uppr\u00e4tth\u00e5lla rutiner<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Motivera pro-sociala beteenden<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">F\u00f6r vissa inneb\u00e4r COVID-19 v\u00e4rre konsekvenser \u00e4n f\u00f6r andra.\u00a0\u00c4ldre, och personer med tidigare h\u00e4lsoproblem, m\u00f6ter en betydligt st\u00f6rre risk \u00e4n unga och friskare personer.\u00a0Men v\u00e4lbefinnandet hos riskgrupper beror inte bara p\u00e5 deras eget beteende utan ocks\u00e5 p\u00e5 <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.bmj.com\/bmj\/2020\/03\/04\/abraar-karan-control-covid19-outbreak-young-healthy-patients-should-avoid-emergency-room\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">beteenden hos dessa andra grupper<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
