Nogle patienter kan v\u00e6re tr\u00e6tte af at h\u00f8re ordene \u201cdu burde tabe dig\u201d hver gang de bes\u00f8ger klinikken: uanset om de er kommet p\u00e5 grund af ondt i halsen, en screening for livmoderhalskr\u00e6ft eller potentielle hjerteproblemer. De har m\u00e5ske oplevet hele deres liv at f\u00f8le sig stigmatiseret af folk fra sundhedsv\u00e6snet og t\u00e6nker, at <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.routledge.com\/The-Psychology-of-Dieting\/Ogden\/p\/book\/9781138501256\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">det eneste folk nogensinde ser er deres st\u00f8rrelse<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Mens det for nogle forholder sig s\u00e5ledes, kan andre, som aldrig har anset deres v\u00e6gt som et problem, blive forn\u00e6rmede eller overraskede hvis emnet bliver taget op. Nogle mennesker vil m\u00e5ske simpelthen ikke h\u00f8re beskeden, ignorerer hvad end der bliver sagt og t\u00e6nker for eksempel \u2019hvad ved du \u2013 du er tynd \/ fed \/ for ung \/ for gammel\u2019 eller \u2019videnskab tager altid fejl.\u2019 Samtalen om v\u00e6gtproblemer kr\u00e6ver derfor grundige overvejelser af \u2019hvorn\u00e5r\u2019, \u2019hvordan\u2019 og \u2019hvad\u2019 der skal siges til en overv\u00e6gtig person.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><b>Hvorn\u00e5r\u2026<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Folk har ofte en fantastisk evne til ikke at h\u00f8re, hvad der bliver sagt. Det f\u00f8rste trick til at f\u00e5 sine beskeder h\u00f8rt er timing, og for emnet v\u00e6gt er det ofte bedst at komme ind p\u00e5 det, n\u00e5r der er et &#8220;teachable moment\u201d, n\u00e5r folk er parate til at l\u00e6re og forandre noget. Skal man sige \u2019fed\u2019, \u2019v\u00e6gt\u2019, \u2019overv\u00e6gt\u2019 eller endda \u2019fedme\u2019? B\u00f8r man v\u00e6re afpr\u00f8vende og sp\u00f8rge \u2019Er det OK at vi snakker om din v\u00e6gt?\u2019. Eller b\u00f8r man v\u00e6re mere direkte ved at erkl\u00e6re \u2019Du burde tabe dig\u2019. Her er der ikke fundet en endegyldig l\u00f8sning, men min l\u00e6sning af evidensen i \u201d<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.routledge.com\/The-Psychology-of-Dieting\/Ogden\/p\/book\/9781138501256\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The psychology of Dieting<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d er som f\u00f8lger: sundhedsprofessionelle er ofte mere bange for emnet end patienterne. Sundhedsprofessionelle b\u00f8r tage snakken, selv hvis de har lyst til at undg\u00e5 den. Ordet \u2019fedme\u2019 kan chokere, men en smule chok (ikke for meget) kan v\u00e6re nyttigt. Alle patienter er forskellige; alle sundhedsprofessionelle er forskellige; og alle konsultationer er en dynamik mellem to forskellige mennesker. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Det drejer sig om at v\u00e6lge det rette tidspunkt og at matche sin tilgang til det, man tror \u200b\u200bpasser til den enkelte patient lige nu. Det der sker efter den indledende del af samtalen, er det afg\u00f8rende for hvor succesfuld personen vil v\u00e6re med sit v\u00e6gttab.
