Call for National Editors

Join National Editors Team for the Practical Health Psychology Blog!

The Practical Health Psychology Blog is looking for National Editors. Previously, we had one National Editor per language but as our blog is growing, we are changing this system to have one National Editor per country to facilitate dissemination of Practical Health Psychology to practitioners around the world.

Who should apply?
We encourage Health Psychologists from countries not listed here to apply (for the ones listed here, we already have National Editors disseminating our blog): Bulgaria, Czech Republic, France, Switzerland, Cyprus, Malaysia, Israel, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Slovenia, Turkey, Ukraine. We are particularly interested in securing National Editors from the US, Canada, Latin American countries, from Asian and African countries, and from other European countries not listed above (e.g., Germany, Italy, the UK, Croatia, Belgium, Sweden, Norway).

What do I have to do to become National Editor?
Email us ( with your proposed dissemination strategy (not more than 350 words) for the country you are from (e.g., list of top societies, organisations you could approach in order to help us disseminate the blog), attach your short bio or CV (not more than 2 pages) and include your link to your institution website, LinkedIn, and/or ResearchGate.

Your role will include distributing monthly blog posts to relevant groups and organisations, supporting other National Editors in translation if and when needed (optional), and writing yearly dissemination report (max 350 words on connections made/societies approached). You will become part of the International Editorial board of the Practical Health Psychology Blog. Applications closing deadline: 30th April 2019.
